Community night continued at the Elmhurst house for the entire month of July. We had a blast meeting new people, having fun, and hanging out. We played football, enjoyed burgers and hot dogs, and indulged in some delicious cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, and even had a bake-off between some of us. Throughout the month, we had the privilege of meeting people from various churches, including Ukrainian Catholic, Syro-Malabar, Syro-Malankara, Latin, Jacobite, Marthoma, and Episcopal churches. We ended the night with night prayer and even got to try Chaldean night prayer and uncharacteristically for an Eastern rite, it was shorter than the Latin one. Though I say we ended the night, many continued the night hanging out, playing Chess (yes, you read that right, Chess), Avalon, Secret Hitler etc.
